Location: Newton (19 miles from Grinnell College)
Needs: Work days to remove invasive species, pick up trash, help with events, collect prairie seed. Other needs include grant-writing and blog writing. We also enjoy having self-starter volunteers!

Equipment/logistics needed: Transportation to our parks would be required. Also, appropriate clothing for the work to be completed (long pants, shoes and socks, work gloves- though gloves can be provided)
Training supplied: Safety training is required to utilize some of our equipment. Conservation staff would provide the safety training if needed and would require a signature confirming the volunteer was provided with training.
