Location: Grinnell (0.8 miles from Grinnell College)
Needs: Help with the Tobacco Grant program/Quitline Iowa, outreach to junior high and high schools, in once a month activities after school, serving as ambassador for Tobacco Grant. Assist with Community Flu Clinics and Wellness Clinics (biometric screenings). Help design and implement once-a-month classes in Parent Education, with each month a new focus such as CPR training, safe sleep/SIDS, meeting with a pharmacist, etc, and Brain Health courses (targeting brain health for ages 50+). Assist with Parent Cafe, which provides a meal and educational topic.

Training supplied: Tobacco education training is supplied by Stephanie Crawford, RN or by regional supervisor. Training and curriculum for the Brain Health Courses is provided under the Department of Health and Human Services. All relevant training for other roles is supplied as well.
