Mission: The Grinnell Food Coalition was formed in order to address food insecurity issues arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.  Its mission is to provide reliable local, state, and national resources and guidance.  The Grinnell Food Coalition is supported and advised by Grinnell residents representing the Claude W. and Dolly Ahrens Foundation, Grinnell College, MICA, Imagine Grinnell, Tiger Packs, Local Foods Connection, Grinnell Chamber of Commerce, Drake Community Library and our local churches and schools.

Location: Grinnell (0.5 miles from Grinnell College)

Needs: Packaging of Meals from the Heartland.

 

Volunteers: needed for occasional one-time events

  • Groups possible? Group help may be needed, please contact Jennifer Cogley if interested

When is service needed: year-round

Number of hours: Flexible, as much or little as is possible for the volunteer

Modality: in-person only
