Mission: The Grinnell Area Arts Council is a nonprofit with a mission to enrich the community by supporting creative expression. The Arts Council offers year-round arts education and events for all ages in two facilities, the Grinnell Arts Center and the Stew Makerspace, as well as off-site. Volunteers help with programming consistent with the Arts Council’s needs and the students’ interests or abilities.

Operation information: Regular Grinnell Arts Center open hours: Tuesdays-Fridays, 11 am-5 pm; Saturdays, 10 am-12 noon; Studio 6 Afterschool Arts Program, T/W/Th 3 -5:15 pm. Grinnell Community Theatre productions occur throughout the year on a varied schedule.
